We rented a flute from Hillje on Saturday from a knowledgeable, friendly young man named Michael. He was very helpful. The store would be closing within 30 mins, but Michael did a great job getting us what we needed quickly and courteously. By Monday we were back at Hillje needing help with a sticky key on the flute.
I found this gem of a music store yesterday, when searching for a place to get my guitar restrung. My guitar had been in a closet for years, due to illness, so I was finally ready to get back to playing it. Sam waited on me, and let me know there were 3 instruments before me.
You can count on Hillje! Our West Texas marching band had to play an event in humid conditions early in the fall which caused some delayed damage to our woodwind instruments. We were truly in a bind at state marching contest as some of those pads began to pop off.
Went twice in the past two days.To get some items for my son's guitar. It's his first so it's work in progress on getting supplies and extras that he may need. The young lady there has been more than helpful in answering all questions myself and my son had. And certainly made me feel welcomed.
