I used to work for a competing repair company. Hollis & Germann has always had a great reputation for quality instrument repair work. They didn't disappoint when I had my 1984 getzen reconditioned for my niece, who is starting to play trumpet.
These folks are sensational! I had my tenor sax looked at after 15 years of non-use and they replaced four pads and cleaned and oiled up the moving parts. Nice staff and owners too! I’ll be back!
I’ve been at Hollis & Germann several times over the past few weeks for things my grandson needed for his trombone. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and I’m happy to be able to support a local business! Lucky for us, this wonderful resource is here in our community.
I had them clean up my 1910 King Model 3 medium bore trombone. I've owned it for 34 years, and I've never seen it look so great. I am very happy with the job they did. I would think it's difficult to get the matte silver plating to look good, but the whole horn looks like brand new.
