I have been a guitarist since 1968 and have played and owned countless guitars, I have mostly resided in large metropolitan areas including NYC, Chicago, Miami and have visited and patronized the most renowned instrument dealers and service centers in these city's, however none of these establishments have come close…
Thank goodness for Hollywood Guitar Shop. Andy is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and his work is impeccable. I have taken his One Day Guitar Build class and also bring my acoustic guitars to him for maintenance. No reason to consider anywhere else for your guitar needs, Andy is the best!
Brought in two of my guitars as I had previously struggled to find a quality luthier to work on my instruments in the past, and was not happy with the way my guitars were currently playing or sounding. Upon first meeting Andy, I could tell right away that he has a passion for his craft and is a true professional.
Andy has been my taking care of my '83 Rickenbacker 320 since I first acquired it in March 2017. He not only did the initial set up, but he also did all the installation work on both sets of mods that the guitar had done since that time, including the most recent cosmetic changes to the pickguard set.
