I just wanted to leave a nice review for my new friends in Guitar Repair and Maintenance, Ed and Bob at Heights Guitar Tech. I tried them out based on the reviews here on their google profile. I brought Bob my recently purchased Stewart Stow-away strat like guitar.
I went to have my new 7 string bass set up here, and I can say that Ed was extremely kind and accommodating the whole way through. I dropped my instrument off on Friday and it was done at the end of the day.
I purchased a used bass and brought it here to have it serviced. Ed got it done for me in 15 minutes! He re-adjusted the neck, restrung, tuned and cleaned the fingerboard and body for me. The tone I get from the bass even unplugged is the best. I can't wait to come back to have the same done for my guitar.
Had a custom built acoustic from 1967 taken apart and all the inside bracing re-glued and it sounds amazing now. Whereas before it rattled so much I did t want to play it, the guitar my grandfather built is alive and giving new inspiration to his 3rd generation. Great work and very fair prices.
