From the reviews
HB Super Pawn is absolutely the best and gave me the most money for my Louis Vuitton purse. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the process, offered a price that was higher than any other place around, made everything quick and easy.
I recently visited the pawn shop to sell my item and I was impressed with how thorough and compassionate the team was throughout the process. Lalo and the entire staff took their time to ensure I fully understood the whole process. They didn’t rush me and ensures nothing was overlooked.
Before doing business with HSP, I was under the impression that pawn shops have a negative stigma "historically speaking ". I could not have been more mistakenly wrong. The transaction with their associate Lalo was honest, accurate and timely.
I’ve never been to a pawn shop so I was intimidated, but the man I was dealing w was so cool (forgot name but he’s a musician)… very nice guy who really made me feel welcome. There was no weird car salesman stuff, just a friendly and fast transaction i was happy with! I highly recommend this place
Selling or trading gear at Huntington Super Pawn
Huntington Super Pawn comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
