Just an update - it's been a few more years using Innersound and they continue to provide excellent service at fair prices. Over the last 14 years, I've patronized Inner Sound with quite a few repairs and refurbishments.
Thank you Mike and Lloyd for your honesty and integrity. I had taken my 30 year old Onkyo 6 Disk CD player in for repair but unfortunately repair could not be done due to discontinued parts availability. Lloyd explained to me in plain words what the issue was which was refreshing.
Fantastic work. They were able to restore my 70's Pioneer back to its former glory. It took a little over 2 weeks, which is exactly the amount of time they estimated. Good work like this isn't cheap but they absolutely were transparent, gave a solid estimate, and stuck to it.
I brought my marantz amplifier in to Inner Sound about six months ago. Mike told me it would take a few months to diagnose the problem. Then I got a phone call in January describing the fix and the cost. That was nearly two months ago by my reckoning.
