Top quality work, always informative and straightforward - you can tell he loves his craft. I have had anything beyond my meager repair scope done at JGuitars - he made my Rick sound like a Rick again, and repaired an antique banjolin for me. I even managed to make friends with the guard dog.
This is by far the best luthier in the region. I have had him work on a number of my guitars. Anything from basic setups to assembling full builds. He is very responsive and reasonably priced. Give him a shot you won't be disappointed!

Jake did a tune-up on my guitar and he did a fantastic job on my Agile 8-string. His price is competitive, only just slightly more than a big store would, but the quality of work is well worth every penny and more.
