J L Smith saves the day! My daughter was to perform in her first ever York County Honors Band. Two days prior she noticed an issue with a key on her flute. She couldn't get the note to play. I called Alex at J L Smith and later that same day I was there for the repair. They were able to fix the flute while I waited.

I've now taken six (maybe seven) of my woodwinds--saxes, clarinets, and flutes-- in for some type of repair. The folks are always friendly and professional, and they do great work.

I'm a repair technician and have been purchasing supplies from JL Smith for quite a while. They've always had top quality tools and parts but I just had to give a special thank you to whoever made the 10mm cork pad spinner for me! I needed that size and the website said it was out of stock so I gave them a call.

Excellent instrument repair services. I consulted them on a bass clarinet and a tenor saxophone. If you want to do your own repairs, they will provide advice and advise on tools. Provide follow-up too; their overhauls always result in a responsive instrument.
