I met Jimmy while attending the Amigo Guitar Show in Franklin Tn. Super nice guys with an awesome selection of guitars and gear. A beautiful 2005 Gibson Les Paul R9 caught my eye and he made me a great deal on it!
This store made me wish I was a better guitar player. I mean to say, craftsmanship is right on the square in downtown Garland at Jimmy Wallace. Good grief!!! I saw the very best in amps and guitars. And parts and pickups were ready, as were the perfect strings. The quality is obvious. Enjoy the vibe.
Jimmy Wallace Guitars has great collection of vintage guitars, boutique guitars, amps and affordable used guitars. They also have great selections of pedals. I was lucky enough to purchase a 1980 Boss Chorus CE-2 from them. Their staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
