JJ Customs Music and More fit all criteria and is a cool down-to-earth place where you can find an excellent assortment instruments and gear, and where you can benefit from a highly proficient instrument…
As an experienced guitarist, I have had to travel to Lexington from Frankfort if I needed repair work done on one of my 14 guitars. Now that JJ Custom Music & More is open, I don't have to make that trip. I drive a mile down the road and can get work done by John or James.
Great little place, but don't let the size fool you. Owners are top notch people and very knowledgeable. They do wonderful repair work and have a nice selection of instruments / gear. Reasonable prices / rates. I am extremely glad to have this shop in town. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.
The staff is friendly and easy going and encouraged me to play everything in the store. While I shopped guitars my companions shopped stacks of vinyl, DVDs, and a set of candelabras in the other half of the store.
