I have been too just about every pawn shop in the chicago land area over the last 10-15 years of my life... Usually to get a loan on some thing to help get me by when finances are hard to hold onto... With the recession now.. Thankfully there are places like that around.
The owner Lauro and his staff have amazing customer service!! I came in looking for a specific price of jewelry for my mom and left with multiple pieces. Lauro is super knowledge about the industry and what everything is actually worth (almost got ripped off at multiple places).
Very fair shop! I needed a loan on my jewelry. Even though I couldn’t make regular payments, I was able to buy back my ring at a fair price. They are knowledgeable about value of jewelry. When I paid off my loan my ring came back cleaned and shiny. They are honest.
I have known the owners for over twenthere's never had a problem at the store or where they were before with them compared to other employees at the previous store they worked at
