I had a really great experience with Kidder Music recently. My middle daughter who is in jr high school , wanted to join the school band and chose the clarinet as her instrument. It is not the beginning of the school year obviously so she was joining a little bit late.
My son had the chance to be the "manager" of this store in a Peoria a few years back. It was such a great experience. We were given the grand tour and even took some wonderful pictures. The staff was very welcoming and I even found some sheet music for an audition for a reasonable price. They even offer voice lessons.
I upgraded my trumpet recently and was impressed with the super helpful, patient, and friendly staff. I appreciated the opportunity to try different horns and didn't feel pressured in any way to purchase one, although I did, and I absolutely love it. Thank you so much!
Went today to pick up a lesson book for my son. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I brought his trumpet with me that we purchased elsewhere and they showed my how to oil the valves. They will be my go to for any future servicing of his instrument.
