Dan always seems ready to take on a challenge, and I appreciate both his good work and his ability to know when an instrument needs more help than he can give it. He has honest assessments, actual skills, fair pricing and I enjoy his subtle excitement about what opening that next case will reveal.
I'm a very experienced guitar maker and repair tech. I retired years ago. I took my new (old) Telecaster to Dan to replace the 3 way switch. When we got down to the cozy basement shop, we plugged in the guitar, listened to the switch issue (slight cut out) and Dan started noticing some other irregularities.
I took my PRS custom 24 20th anniversary to Dan to be brought back to life and he delivered. My PRS is now an absolute pleasure to play and hasn't felt this effortless in years. I appreciated the attention to detail as well as the honestly.
