I decided to take lessons at Lakewood Music as a form of self-care. I wanted to use my time off to do something that brings me joy—and for me, that’s music. Of course, learning something new can come with its own set of challenges, and I worried it might not be as “joyful” as I imagined.
We’ve had an amazing experience with Salene and Dan as piano teachers for our 9-year-old and 5-year-old. Salene is fantastic at tailoring lessons to our child’s progress, making learning fun and motivating. She’s patient, caring, and truly fosters a love for music.
Lakewood Music Academy has really been a joy to work with thus far for my son’s guitar lessons. The staff has been very friendly and helpful, and communication has been great. My son’s instructor (Ben) is extremely knowledgeable, and he has been great with my son.
We absolutely love Meghan! What started as voice lessons has blossomed into a growing love for piano as well. With just a little exposure and encouragement, our daughter felt confident enough to try something new — and that says so much about Meghan’s approach.
