From the reviews
My 8-year old son has been taking trumpet lessons for several months and loves it. He kept bugging me to give Prattland a 5-star review so here we are. From my perspective, this is a great place for kids to learn music and the staff are very friendly and good with kids.
I've had a wonderful experience as Prattland's trombone teacher! For prospective students and their parents: the lessons, ensembles, and classes offered here are fun and well taught. Policies are clear from the very start, and financial management is clear and prompt.
My children began taking piano lessons at Prattland in September, 2017. We had just lost our previous teacher, and I was looking forward to changing things up in their instruction. In short, we have been exceptionally happy with our experience with Prattland, Dennis and Carla Pratt as well as their excellent teacher.
Our daughter loves taking lessons from there and teachers are wonderful. We were not sure how she could continue to take lessons during the social distancing when all schools are closed... but it’s been great using Zoom.
Lessons at Lehi School of Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Lehi School of Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
