It was a genuine pleasure working with Keith; I was referred to him by a friend who is a local high school band director. My valve trombone was in rough shape as I hadn't seriously played it in over four years. The two main slides were corroded and I broke a joint trying to get the large tuning slide off.
I am extremely satisfied with the instrument repairs on my sons, tenor saxophone and clarinet I received from Keith at Lenz Band Instruments. Keith’s expertise and high attention to detail are evident in the high quality of work he delivered.
Four years ago, I called Keith about buying two used student trumpets. He offered 2 very similar horns which I purchased as they were in very good condition, and both came with cases. My grandsons have been playing these horns since without any issues.
Keith came to me highly recommended by a current Band Director as a better, faster, and very reasonably priced repair service. In servicing my tenor trombone with an F attachment, Keith provided a solution to my rotor valve problem that another local brass service was unable to solve, even after repeated attempts.
