From the reviews
Had to stop by the famous Liberty Bellows while visiting Philly. I went for a gig bag, and they got me a nice new one and threw me an old one for my 2nd box for free. Friendly staff, and just awesome being surrounded by so many accordions.
My husband’s Hohner accordion that he uses for paid gigs had a stuck button and a lifted key. Stopped in on a Saturday to get a repair quote. They fixed it on the spot. Charged us $117 for the repair and he’s back in business - same day. The inventory will blow your mind!!!!
I inherited 2 accordians from my uncle who passed away 40 years ago. I brought in my button box to be completely reconditioned. There were many issues caused by age and improper storage for almost a half century. It now works great. Once I pay off my card, I am bringing in the other one for service.
I've been using liberty for 2 years now. I'm very satisfied with the quality, service and helpful staff people Darla, technical staff (who helped me with the stuck reed over the internet) and of course owner Mike who always gets me answers to my questions.
Lessons at Liberty Bellows Accordion Shop
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Liberty Bellows Accordion Shop. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
