A few years ago, I was a non-musician looking to start playing acoustic guitar. And now, having experienced other music stores, I have to say this: 1) I do not in any way regret the choice in guitar that the shop led me to.
I contacted Libertyville music to gain some information on my current guitar, including inquiring about selling on consignment. Andy was incredibly helpful in my journey. I'm a pretty high energy person, and he dealt with me very calm, clear and understanding.
I'm a pretty experienced guitar guy but not too good with a soldering iron. Tried to fix my grandson's guitar and failed. Not wanting to disappoint my grandson I took the guitar to Libertyville Music. Mark took a quick look and carefully found and fixed where I went wrong.
