Lightning Joes is one of the best shops you'll ever do business with. Its one of the last really great family shops in the United States, all while operating at pro-level. I found the guitar that I had dreamed about here and Joseph went over and above when we had some issues to overcome. They will go the extra mile.
I had visited the shop several times looking for a special guitar. I finally decided on one and went in to buy. Then Joe served me a half dozen or so comparable styles so that i could be sure i was making the right choice. I ended up buying something more of my dreams than the recommendations of others.
We have had a wonderful time at Lightning Joe's. My son has been taking banjo lessons from Giles. Giles is patient, kind and a great teacher. He has helped build confidence and made the struggle of learning new skills fun.
Got my 82 Gibson Les Paul custom back from the shop! This guitar is one of my most prized possessions and I got give much respect to Lightning Joe’s, I was told a while back that I needed a complete overhaul on the electronics and pick ups, which was fine I wanted to get the EMG out of it.
