Usually exceptional service, but just recently we had an upsetting experience regarding the promised availability of an A level violin for purchase. Wound up re-renting our older B after we arrived and were told neither A nor AA were in stock, nor were they aware of when any would be available.
Great place if you’re looking to buy or rent a violin. The inside is amazing, and seems to take you back into the 18th century. The walls, rugs, paintings, tables, and more are all beautiful which makes a great experience.
The visit to the shop was a pleasant surprise for me. It is in a pretty big mansion and the showroom is classic and well decorated. The interior atmosphere made me want to play music. They have a large selection of quality string instruments. The violins we rented were very good.
I have been renting instruments from Main Violin Shop for 3 years and the experience has been nothing but positive! The instruments are meticulously kept and are always in excellent condition. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Main Violin Shop to everyone!
