I visited Mark's Guitar Exchange while I was in town visiting family. As someone accustomed to the limited selection at my local Guitar Center I was immediately drawn to their impressive array of custom shop Fenders and Gibson's.
This was a treat for sure! I was on my way to scope out the book singing spot in San Diego area for Valerie Bertinelli’s new cookbook Indulge! and we decided to stop by and check out local & legendary Mark’s Guitar Exchange. I am so thrilled that we did!
As a surprise for my best friend's birthday, I took her Taylor guitar into Mark's while she was on vacation and had a full setup done. She's been playing this guitar every day for the ten years I've known her, and it was the best gift ever. The guitar sounds incredible! It's like it's been given a whole new life.
Amazing experience and great staff! I went there looking for my first ever guitar, since I had no model in specific the staff helped me get one that fitted my needs and wants within my price range. I encourage to go with time to spare since there is a lot to see and the sellers might get busy.
