From the reviews
The service is amazing. Have a decent store size, and I also take lessons here so I must enjoy them.
I brought in a vintage Buescher sax to have a post resoldered, bent key rods repaired, and a repad. The repair work was very good. I am amazed at how nice the soldering and clean up was done. I could barely tell any soldering was done. The sax plays very well as well. I highly recommend Marshal for instrument repair.
In Fall 2017 we purchased a Yamaha tenor sax for our son. The staff, the delection and purchase process, and now in July 2018, a tiny bit of maintenance -- all hassle-free and done with great professionalism. They know their business! We are immensely satisfied.
Stopped in the other day to get reeds. Staff was very friendly and eager to help me find what I needed as well as choose a new brand of reeds. Not sure how pricing compares to other music stores, but everything seemed reasonable.
Lessons at Marshall Music Co.
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Marshall Music Co.. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
