Jim is the best around - period. I’ve been bringing guitars to him for years and he always does top notch work. He’s an incredible guitarist that knows how to really dial in a guitar to play super smooth like butter. He just fixed a snapped Gibson neck for me and I’m amazed at how seamless the repair came out.
I am very meticulous about my guitars, and very particular about who I allow to work on them. Jim is by far the best Luthier I’ve ever used, and I am certain I would never consider anyone else. He’s not only done the typical standard set up stuff, but has actually modified guitars for me to my custom specifications.
