I can't say enough about the positive experience I had at Menzel Violins and with Mo. First, the shop is beautiful and had a peaceful feel. More impressive was Mo.
Went on a slow afternoon and got an extensive lesson on violins; origins, sound, year of manufacture. They were played for me. Excellent low pressure and informative environment. Nothing quite like it.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Let me preface this by saying I have no experience with violins, violin shopping, or anything of the sort. That being said, I know it can be a very shady industry, so when I went off to buy a violin for my girlfriend I did my research and came across Menzel.
