I've been buying, selling, and trading with Mike Carey for years now, and am ready to leave my review. It's also important to note that my family members and friends also go to Mike Carey Music for their music needs.
My acoustic guitar had an annoying buzz so I researched local music stores, checking ratings along the way, and decided to try this store. I found Mike to be very personable, knowledgeable, and patient.
Just wanted to post how wonderful my experience was with Mike Carry. I took my 14 year old son in for guitar strings, and he was amazing with him. Mike was super helpful, funny , and super kind. He even took the time to give my son tips about his guitar and help him with his strings. Mike has such a away about him.
Pretty incredible to think back on the years I been coming here. 22 years. Whenever I need a random little thing for a gig or my eye catches a great deal on a very old, very playable guitar, or just to pop in for some strings and some conversation, or to have my instruments set up, (I can do it myself but I hate doing…
