I've been a customer of Mike's Music for over 15 years, and I can honestly say it's one of the best local businesses around. I first walked through their doors as a middle school kid buying my very first guitar and amp, and all these years later it's still my go-to place for repairs, tune-ups, and new / used gear.
I was sent to pick up strings for my fiancee for a birthday gift. I am not at all familiar with acoustic guitars and what i came to get was sold out. I was impressed with the help I received in finding a replacement for what i came for. Walking in I felt welcome and was greeted with friendly help.
My son and I had a fantastic experience at Mike's Music. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They encouraged my son to try out multiple guitars and provided great advice without being pushy.
Super nice staff, guy in the leather bibs (can't remember his name) was helpful and chill, needed a Drum key and a slide. Guy at register also super polite and laid back. I'll make the drive again . Update: have had multiple visits and each one has been great. 2025 1st purchase is a Fender mustang for my harmonica.
