From the reviews
Just the kindest, most welcoming & knowledgeable staff. Such a gem to have in our community.
I like that they have violins, banjos and some mandolins in the shop. I took my recently acquired banjitar (six string banjo) in for a setup. I'm left-handed and I use a slightly different tuning than standard tuning, but that was clearly understood.
They were amazing! My son explained what he was experiencing with his school instrument and they knew exactly what he was talking about! 20 minutes later, the gentleman returned with the barri saxophone and had my son play it. My son says, "Mom, I don't know what he did, but it's like a whole new barri!
These guys are always helpful and friendly. No purchase is too big or small for them! I've bought guitar pics and reeds all the way up to saxophone cases. Always professional and knowledgeable when it comes to minor repairs on my horns. Never pushy about big purchase items
Lessons at MIR MUSIC
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at MIR MUSIC. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
