From the reviews
A year ago my review might have looked different. To call me skeptical would have been an understatement. Then we got new management. As things improved so did my view. I'm a vendor. Have been for 3 years, and was years ago as well. This last year is the most change I've seen in 12 years from a vendor stand point.
Here's a place that you can find just about anything. There's clothes for the whole family. Work clothes, baby clothes, ladies clothes (new and used) and all the accessories you could want. Kitchen supplies, pots n pans, silverware new and used.
Cool "outdoor"shopping area full of all kinds of vendors. Video games, tools, sunglasses, chickens, puppies, birds, scented oils, hats, knives, toys, phone cases, etc. They've got looots of stuff. Costs a dollar per person to get in, but it's worth it just to see everything they've got.
Oh me on my…lots to see and buy!!! Need to get your steps in, love to treasure hunt, need a nice inexpensive gift…come here! Lots of little things, useful to the eye of the beholder. We bought new stylish tote bags, had hotdogs and corn dogs at the little food stand…we drive 1.5hrs just to see what’s new here!
Selling or trading gear at Mobile Flea Market
Mobile Flea Market comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
