Competence and old fashioned ethics. I rented a bass from Monaco's violin shop to learn to play with my kids, who are old time musicians. We packed our instruments in our trailer for a weekend trip to a fiddler's convention in Virgina, and during the trip the bass became wedged between the slide room of the trailer…
The Monaco family and their staff run a wonderful shop. I would've been "up the creek" more than once were it not for Mark's repair work on my bass. Their instruments, accessories and repairs are all very reasonably priced. You won't meet nicer people, either. We're very lucky to have Monaco's Violin Shop in town!
They are just the kindest people here. The instrument is great quality and they replace strings on the rentals for free when need be and they have been absolutely lovely to my daughter and I. There is a warm vibe here. Highly recommend this shop.
There’s no place like it. The professionalism and quality of work are second to none. I’ve witnessed young students being taken care of with a level of care typically reserved for professionals at other establishments.
