After some questions about the store schedule I was finally able to visit this store and boy was it worth it. Really cool guitar selection, very welcoming environment (owner was not there but I'm definitely looking forward to meeting), we jammed out for a while and I walked out with a new Epiphone acoustic guitar.
We've been bringing our guitars to Monkton for a couple of years now for repairs and string replacements, and our 6-year-old daughter takes guitar lessons here (shout out Ted!) Every visit has been fantastic! What sets Monkton apart is that it's a true small business with heart.
Clayton the new owner took fantastic care of my guitar. Had a complex situation and he helped resolve everything. Got some string trees installed and the work came out great. Excellent customer service and awesome guys to chat with. Highly recommend.
I've been to a lot of music shops, but this guitar shop truly stands out—not just for their amazing selection of guitars, but also for their custom sound systems. Clayton is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about both guitars and audio gear.
