From the reviews
I went there to get games, but they don't have alot. They do however have some for xbox one & PS4, not bad ones either. They had a great movie selection & perfect pricing.
We've visited them numerous times over the years and always happy with the experience. They're knowledgeable and find answers if they don't have them. We'll continue to stop in and check out the inventory for our misc needs. Thank you to all the staff.
Stopped in for a bit because we were passing through. Had my kids with and believe it or not , the kids loved it. The staff was awesome and their dog was was a big hit with my kids. Prices are fair for sure. Would definitely recommend!
Bought a balisong (butterfly knife) here a little while back. The purchase was easy, and the staff was understanding when my card came up short, and let me pay partially in cash. I was greeted almost the second I stepped into the store, asked if I was looking for anything specific, then pointed towards the knives.
Selling or trading gear at Monticello Pawn and Gun
Monticello Pawn and Gun comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
