I called into Morales Guitar expecting to pick my acoustic guitar up maybe a week later. Instead I was able to bring it in on the same day, and was able to pick it up a little over an hour later. A full setup, nut work, bridge replacement, fret work. You can't get any better than that!
Dan has done stainless steel re- frets on one of my Martin guitars, two Gibson SG and one Fender stratocaster. The two Gibson guitars I left with him were, literally, unplayable because they wouldn't stay in tune. Dan did a bunch of research and found three compounding problems. He fixed them and now they are perfect!
I have an Art & Lutherie acoustic electric guitar. I've never had it tuned up and its over 20 years old. The pickup gave out so I searched for anyone who knew this Canadian brand and Dan did. We had informative discussions on my options and he offered a VERY generous pricing structure.
