Wonderful place! My daughter has been taking fiddle lessons from Miss Renee for a little over a year. It's so worth driving up from Carson City. Miss Renee's positive and upbeat style works well with my daughter. She has fun AND learns!
We stumbled into the Mountain Music Parlor and were immediately greeted by the owner Renee. She invited us in and gave us a tour of the building. It is a historical Reno home that was built in 1906! They have unique gifts for music lovers, music lessons and live shows in thier stunning hidden backroom.
The owners were extremely generous, helpful, and kind! I came in for the first time today to find some new tuner pegs and strings for my ukulele. They had juuuust barely ran out of stock, so they offered to order them and repair my ukulele for me for a very great price!
I called on the phone asking about guitar slides to use for my uke and when I arrived the owner Renee had a full selection of different slides laid out to choose from and made sure I left with one that was just right!
