From the reviews
A friend went in to re-string a guitar she had to gift to me, but there was a crack in the neck found by staff at the (Cary location) store so the strings were unable to be restrung without cracking the neck of the guitar she brought in further.
As a 40-something who couldn’t carry a tune if it were stapled to my back, I thought guitar lessons would be a whimsical if brief midlife crisis. Indeed, they’ve become one of the highlights of my week. The staff at M&A is professional and helpful.
I had seen this location of Music and Arts many times over the years and thought it was mostly just a place for lessons but it turns out that they have a great selection of instruments, accessories, and sheet music!
I had such a wonderful experience at this store. I walked in thinking I'd have to send my trumpet away for 3 weeks for repairs, and walked out with a playable trumpet, thanks to the care and expertise of Aidan!
Lessons at Music & Arts
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Music & Arts. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
