Highly recommend the Music Box! Really helpful people working there, and it’s a must-visit for any musician or parents of child musicians in town. It is THE music store in Lodi. I’m a professional piano technician/tuner (and Owner of Flemmer Piano Services in Lodi), and I interact with the Music Box regularly.
Bought a couple packs of guitar strings and polish. I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who helped me, but he was concise and no-nonsense which I greatly appreciated.
Went in here trying to figure out the specifics of an instrument I picked up at a garage sale...they were great, helped me identify a clarinet and the cost to repair it even though they don't sell or repair them there... they had some totally sweet guitars though, definitely the place to go for guitars....
I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years now and I’ve been a patron of this establishment for about that long as well. I’ve bought a couple guitars and a lot of strings they’re always friendly and have time and they’re pretty cool about letting you try cool stuff even if you’re not gonna buy it today.
