From the reviews
I was at a friend's house playing his guitar, and I was surprised at how beautifully the thing played. It was the most comfortable guitar I had ever held, and he told me he had it set up at Music City. So, I took my Telecaster and junky acoustic to Music City and the place didn't disappoint.
I have smaller hands and a 3/4 guitar I bought online a few years ago was collecting dust in my home. I was happily surprised by Music City Buffalo when I decided to buy a new guitar locally. Store owner Mr. Vincent Mastrantonio has running it for thirty years , is very knowledgeable, patient, and warm.
I've known Vince, and his wonderful family, for about two decades now. I've bought guitars, basses, amps, strings, cords, picks, pedals, keys, drums, a didjeridoo ... The list goes on. Other stores just don't draw me in, least of all Guitar Center (that's a cold place).
I brought 5 vintage guitars and a bass to Music City Buffalo for set ups and am extremely happy to say the least! First, Vince was quick in responding to my initial inquiry. He scheduled me right in. He is very knowledgeable about his business and just a great person.
Lessons at Music City
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Music City. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
