From the reviews
I cannot thank Scott and the employees at Music Go Round, 105 E Central Entrance in Duluth, MN, enough. I am an avid guitar collector and specialize in many manufactures. One of those is Epiphone and specific models that have Gibson specs without the Gibson prices.
The staff were very nice and attentive! Sadly they did not have the instrument I was looking for, a banjolele, but they had a huge variety of other instruments, some that I haven't even heard of before.
super friendly group of dedicated musicians on staff and they will answer any questions you have to find the solution.
Had my 2013 Epiphone Les paul Standard brought in for some upgrades. It had already had some seymore duncan p90 phat cats put in a few years ago. This thing has never sounded better and the price was amazing as well. Work done was new Graphtech nut, some grover lockers, new graphtech bridge and stop bar.
Selling or trading gear at Music Go Round
Music Go Round comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
