I started taking lessons with Steve here when I was about 12 years old. I’m currently 29, and a professional musician who has toured around the country. I wouldn’t be in this position without The Music Shop. My lessons with Steve gave me motivation to keep playing and gave me every tool I could ever need to succeed.
Steve is a passionate and incredibly knowledgeable guitar teacher for people of all ages. I originally took lessons with him when I was 6 years old, and when I picked the guitar back up as an adult, there was nowhere else I would have considered taking lessons.
Steve is great with our 11 year old son. Just the right level of encouragement and keeps the focus on having fun while still learning. We also bought the electric guitar used for the lessons here and it has worked out well. A minor repair needed a year after we bought it was fixed here for a very nominal amount.
I’ve been taking guitar lessons with Steve for about two months now, and my progress has been insane. I’ve progressed much faster than my friend who has been doing online courses, and even as a beginner, I can see all the bad habits he has learned because he doesn’t have an instructor to correct him.
