From the reviews
We called Gibson's factory in Bozeman and they said no visitors due to construction. Vicky at Gibson's said to go to Music Villa and tell them that Vicky sent us and they would show us the good stuff. I saw many name brand guitars that I thought were very reasonably priced. Many seemed like true bargains.
Without a doubt, the coolest guitar store in the country. I have done a lot of domestic traveling and I always search out the local guitar store. Music Villa is without a doubt my all time favorite. The staff and service is great, but the selection and atmosphere are really what make this place special.
I don't write a lot of reviews. But, my experience at Music Villa, specifically with Paul, the owner, was as good as it gets. For quite sometime, I had been looking for a new guitar. One with a specific sound. I was on a quest for the "one".
As you can see from the reviews, Music Villa is a special place for guitars and guitarists with a guitar selection that is out of this world. I was from out of town and spent an afternoon there trying guitars under the expert watchful eye of salesman Mario Miner.
Lessons at Music Villa
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Music Villa. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
