Amazing customer service. I dropped $40 on a set of bass strings that turned out to be duds. They let me exchange them for strings of a similar credit with little to no hassle. The only place I’ll be going in Iowa City for my musician needs from now on.
On point good customer relations at musicians pro. A special shout out to the guitar luthier, Mike Helmer, for his stellar guitar craftsmanship. His attention to detail is superb. Mike is a very humble guy with one thing in mind and that’s to ensure your guitar sounds and looks exactly the way you want.
Excellent selection of guitars, amps and drums/percussion section. Some really neat effect pedals for sale there too, not just the regular pedal junk you usually find at music stores. Employee there was also super friendly and a good guy.
Musician's Pro Shop is an excellent resource for musicians in Iowa City. Always reasonably priced, knowledgeable, and reliably available. I've purchased and traded a lot of gear through the shop and will continue to do so! Don't buy online if you can buy local.
