I bought a custom NAU amp about 10 years ago, and it defined my tone. It defined it so well, that when I was looking for a backup amp, no other amp came close to giving me my sound (Marshall, Fender, etc.). I am now having John make me a backup amp so I can have my tone. Curse you, John Nau!!!
John Nau is a fantastic resource to the amplifier world and has helped me with several issues on new , used and custom work . 100% stand up guy reliable dependable and realistic. This guy knows his craft and is fascinating to watch him do a diagnostic and resolve an issue . I can’t say enough on how he operates.
John is just an upstanding and outstanding human being. He knows his trade and is proud of it. I've brought my amp and footswitch to him and they now sound and work better than before. Now I'm strongly considering building my next custom amplifier with him. I cannot recommend him enough.
Great Service!! Dropped off my Fender Deluxe Reverb 68 Custom because I could hear radio broadcasts and also amp was very noisy and Hissy. It was ready the next day. Price was very reasonable and when I got the amp home it sounded great! No radio noise or hissy sounds coming through the speaker.
