Quality Strings and it owner Elliott Katz are a very lucky find indeed. If you need anything for your cello, or are in need of a new Cello Quality Strings is the right place. I found Elliott via an internet search.
I have been renting my daughter's cello from New York Quality Strings (Eliot) for the past 4 years. Our cello teacher highly recommended Eliot because he took great care of other students. We obviously loved the interaction.
When my antique violin went out of state for repairs, I urgently needed a rental. I found NYQS on Google, and despite not having many reviews I decided to rent from them. The process was easy and efficient. I went online, completed the rental form and paid by credit card.
I don't typically write public reviews, but Elliot (the lovely human behind New York Quality Strings) was so wonderful; I'm so glad I found him! I rented a cello that I eventually ended up purchasing from him and I've been very happy with it; it's a beautiful instrument. But, even more impressive is Elliot himself.
