I've been looking for a music store like this ever since I got to L.A. from Toronto. Annie & Ben were so great to deal with. I won't speak about the corporate stores that lacked any warmth in welcoming musicians to their instruments. The people at this store are all about supporting and expanding the arts.
Nick Rail is a fantastic music store! They’re a mainstay that’s been in the same location for years, always stocked with great items at great prices. And their instrument repair department is one of the best around.
The staff here went above and beyond. We came in to check out potential instruments to start lessons and they gave us a full demonstration allowing us to try them out and get a real feel for each.
I stopped by looking for a part to my son's trumpet that had broken. The part was a non-standard size since his trumpet is not a major brand. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The repair tech, Randy, was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and ultimately fixed my son's trumpet on the spot.
