From the reviews
I have been following Noble Records on YouTube since the beginning. I finally got to make the 3 hour trip each way to check the shop out. I spent hours there digging, and left with a box full of records to take back to SC!
Dillon had a listing of a rare audiophile CD I wanted online, and worked with me to coordinate a time to come by the store and pick it up. Media was graded very conservatively, and honestly one of the best conditions I've ever seen a disc in from 1979 in.
My favorite record store. Great selection, frequently refreshed with new records. I always find something cool. The owner and staff are all very cool and knowledgeable. You should also check out their YouTube channel. Great info and news on newly acquired collections.
Unbelievable place. I only get to this area once or twice a year and make sure I stop in. Shop is impeccable, neat clean organized. The selections are always top notch. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My credit card takes a hit but is a wonderful hit. I am kind of glad I do not live close!
Selling or trading gear at Noble Records
Noble Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
