Skip is one of the most genuine people I know, and he has an extremely high level of integrity. I was thrilled to learn that he had opened his business performing guitar setups, and I had him work on my relatively new Taylor acoustic as well as my Fender Strat Plus which I've had since high school.
Skip is a gem of a person and an incredibly competent luthier. I have worked with countless luthiers and guitar tech and I can confidently say that Skip has all the qualities I look for in a luthier. He takes the time to understand what I _really_ want from my guitars.
Skip is an absolute gem of a human and put some seriously good energy and mojo into my Jazzmaster. I brought my main Stratocaster to Skip for a solid once over. It wasn’t staying in tune and he dialed in my trem system like no one else has and no it plays how I need it. He also took care of my neck and intonation. Such a great job and great person to have taking care of my main guitar.
