Brought my husband's 30-year-old trumpet to Jim to have it refurbished for his birthday. Jim was able to fully service it and polish the silver to brand new in 24 hours flat. (He did mention it wasn't his busy season, which is just ahead of the school year, so your mileage may vary.
Finding it on a web search, took my first bugle in for repair. It was done very well, pretty fast, and decent price. Best part, Jim is a professional, very well versed in the instruments, friendly, and communicates easily. That is why I am a constant repeat customer, now with the 4th bugle. Wonder why 4 bugles?
