The gentleman at Palen Music in Joplin were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! My daughter is beginning strings in elementary and they helped ensure her aunt's hand-me-down violin and bow were in good working order! Demonstrated how to properly adjust the tension of the bow and apply rosin, etc.
They are amazing! They came recommended by our school. I spoke to 3 different staff members over a few days, trying to decide how I wanted to purchase a flute for my daughter. Every employee was super friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about their instruments and services.
The guys in the Joplin Mo store are upgrading the pups on my 2006 semi-hollow Epiphone. They ordered what I wanted there on site and scheduled the work on my axe upon day of arrival. Additionally, I am adding a treble bleed to the bridge pup and installing a push/pull knob for toggling on/off.
Follow up after purchasing a guitar for a teen has been cordial and educational. Staff has replaced strings while he would observe, allowed him to experience different instruments, ans have always been friendly ans helpful. Original purchase was made easy as staff helped me choose the instrument which was his gift.
