I have been in the market for a Martin OM-42 for quite some time. I was visiting family from out of state and decided to pull the trigger. I searched online for music stores in the area that had the guitar available for purchase. I stopped by the Palen Music store in Columbia where I was, and they had the guitar.
Marc Torlina is terrific! I picked up a used baritone ukelele and was looking for a teacher patient enough to teach me a song that I want to play with a fellow camp counselor this summer. Marc is exactly that. He is very knowledgeable, and if I am struggling with a chord, he shows me alternative ways to play it.
These guys are next level. 80s MIJ Strat just arrived today. The packaging was so professional. The guitar setup is at the peak of custom. The pleking was so worth it. What a fretboard! And I’ve just played it direct into my practice amp - a Blackstar HTR-5. This thing is magical.
