Tony has worked on all my guitars for many years. If I have question Tony is always willing to take time to stop and help me out. He has always done great work. As for Pawn Central... I believe it is a great place to shop... Heather and Jim has always made me feel welcome...
I visited Pawn Central for the first time today to pick up a Christmas giveaway guitar for my grandson. Thank you, Pawn Central! And Wow! This place has so much to offer. Everything is so nicely organized which makes shopping much more enjoyable. Great selection of items and great staff. I will definitely be back.
Amazing clean place, staff is very friendly and helpful. Tony the guitar tech has done a few setups and repairs on my guitars. He does amazing work. His attention to detail is above and beyond. Does the best work in town.
Selling or trading gear at Pawn Central
Pawn Central comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
