What players say again and again
“All the employees have been welcoming and knowledgeable in their roles, but Brandi specifically makes me feel like a very valued customer.”
“Great customer service and had a lot of nice, reasonably priced items!”
From the reviews
I am a long-time customer of this business. They have always treated me well and are one of the friendliest places at which I have ever been a patron. They work with customers so well when it comes to items in pawn, and I have never once felt low-balled when I have gone in to sell something.
Entire staff was very knowledgeable and respectful! It was an out of control customer inside and they handle it very well! I think the cashier that helped me was Dustin! Apologize if I got his name wrong it was a lot going on
Great experience! Tall guy is a great asset to your company. I pawned a gold coin and put a gold coin on layaway. Great price and an awesome staff! I will be a returning customer due to “ Tall Guy”. Thank you again!
Dustin was very welcoming and HONEST which I greatly appreciate. Although we didn't have a transaction today....I will be back and will recommend your shop!
Selling or trading gear at Pawn Express of Troy
Pawn Express of Troy comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
